INTRODUCTION

Equitia is a browser MMO on Robinhood Chain, played from a wallet with nothing to download. You work a claim across five districts, level six trades to 99, and compete on weekly XP ranks that pay real tokenized stock out of an on-chain vault.

Two currencies keep it honest. Scrip is earned in game and never leaves it. $EQTY is on-chain and handles player trade, the Bell and cashing out. Every $EQTY trade pays a 4% tax that fills the Treasury, and the Treasury pays the rewards.

$EQTY is not deployed yet. Nothing on this site prints a contract address, a price or a market cap until it is. Launch goes out on @equitia first.

ACCOUNT AND WALLET

Your wallet is your account. Signing in takes two proofs and neither one is a transaction: a Privy session token, and a personal_sign over a one-time nonce that binds the address to that session. The game never holds your keys and never asks for gas to log in.

Entry. After launch, filing a character costs 2,500 $EQTY, paid once from your wallet and burned on the spot. Charter characters filed before launch never pay it.

Basin Credit. Before launch every charter character receives 5,000 credit so the Exchange Board, the Bell and the burn ledger run for real. Credit is a play balance. It is not $EQTY and it carries no claim on $EQTY.

YOUR FIRST SESSION

A new character spawns in Ledger Square carrying a Copper Axe, a Copper Pick, a Hand Line and five cooked perch. Pick a name of 3 to 16 letters or numbers and the Basin is open.

  1. 01Click a pine next to you. The axe works from your pack, no equipping needed.
  2. 02Break a copper seam east of the plaza with the pick in your pack.
  3. 03Walk to the Foundry on the east side and smelt a Copper Bar.
  4. 04Kill a tick outside the fences. Eat perch from your pack to heal.
  5. 05Bank the haul at the Vault north-west of the plaza. Banked stock never drops.
  6. 06Sell the junk to Cutler Pace. He pays 55% of value.
  7. 07Read the Exchange Board north of the plaza. That is where the real money is.
  8. 08Take three contracts from the Contract Board south of the plaza.

DISTRICTS

Five districts, one character. Portals connect them and your position is saved per district, so you arrive next to the portal you came through. Safe districts never drop loot on death. The Drawdown is open PvP. The Undervault has no PvP, but dying there still costs you the pack.

DistrictSizePvPCombatWhat is there
Ledger Square48 x 48No1The safe hub. Vault, Outfitter, Exchange Board, the Bell, Contract Board, Treasury.
Ironleaf Stand56 x 56No1Old-growth timber. Early combat, brambles, the first real ore.
Slackwater40 x 40No1A flooded quarry. Fishing, cook fires, and silver runs outside the Drawdown.
The Drawdown64 x 64Yes10Open PvP. The richest ground and the worst neighbours.
The Undervault40 x 40No5Under the Square. No PvP, but dying still costs you the bag.

LEDGER SQUARE

Everything that keeps a claim running sits on one plaza. The Vault takes your haul, the Outfitter sells the tools, the Exchange Board is where players actually trade, and the $EQTY board over the spawn carries the tape. Nobody can hit you here.

Landmarksthe pump house and the well at the centre of the plaza, the $EQTY board on stilts over spawn, the Vault, Cutler Pace's Outfitters, the Exchange Board, the Bell, the Contract Board, Odessa Finch's tape desk, the Foundry, with its furnace and quench trough, the Millhouse bench, the Treasury door.

PortalsIronleaf Stand at (44, 24), Slackwater at (24, 44), The Drawdown at (3, 24), The Undervault at (40, 32).

IRONLEAF STAND

A working forest north-east of the Square, cut through by a river and three plank crossings. Pine everywhere, ironleaf on the high ground, copper in the cut banks. Coyotes hunt in the open and a claim jumper camp holds the south-east ridge.

Landmarksthe river and its three plank crossings, the Ironleaf ring, a stand of old survey markers, Copper Cut, a hollow with a surveyor's cabin, the fenced Claim Jumper camp on the south-east ridge.

PortalsLedger Square at (3, 28).

SLACKWATER

The quarry filled in years ago and nobody drained it. Four jetties reach into flat water, cook fires burn on the north shore, and at Silver Point the fish run pale enough to be worth the walk.

Landmarksfour jetties on the south bank, the drying sheds, the North Shore cook fires, Silver Point and its gantry.

PortalsLedger Square at (2, 20).

THE DRAWDOWN

West of the Square the ground drops into a strip mine that never closed. Silver seams, blackwood, slag golems, and Ursa Major in a den on the south-east rim. Anyone can hit you and everything you carry is on the table.

Landmarksthe slag river, the collapsed Survey Tower, Silver Vein, with its ore cart and adit, the Trestle, Ursa Major's den behind the spoil heaps.

PortalsLedger Square at (1, 32).

THE UNDERVAULT

Somebody dug storage under Ledger Square and then walked away from it. Dust rats in the runs, paper hands in the cistern, margin leeches in the standing water, and the Overhang sitting on a pile nobody ever cleared.

Landmarksthe stairwell east of the plaza, the Paper Cistern, the Overhang's chamber.

PortalsLedger Square at (2, 20).

TOMBSTONES

Dying in a safe district respawns you at that district spawn with full health and nothing lost. Dying in the Drawdown or the Undervault drops your entire pack and half your carried scrip where you fell, for five minutes. Anyone can take it. Equipped weapon and armor stay on you. Anything in the Vault is never at risk.

CORE GAMEPLAY

Gather and fight for scrip, items and XP. Cook and forge to turn raw material into food, bars and gear. Bank what you want to keep and sell the rest, junk to Cutler and the good stuff to players. Then take the Drawdown for silver, blackwood, golems and Ursa Major, and climb the weekly ranks.

COMBAT

Click a creature to attack. You walk adjacent and swing every 1.5 seconds. Damage is your attack multiplied by a roll between 0.5 and 1.1, minus part of the target defence. Attack is 2 plus 60% of combat level plus your weapon. Defence is 30% of combat level plus your armor. Eat to heal, and put food on the belt so one key does it.

PvP happens only in the Drawdown. Kills count toward Outlaw and toward your side score for the week. Everything you carry can be lost there, so bank first.

LONGS AND SHORTS

Pick a side from the Sides panel. Longs think the Basin is worth holding. Shorts think the whole thing is exit liquidity and intend to be paid for saying so.

  • A side scores its members' XP for the week
  • 25,000 for every boss kill
  • 10,000 for every PvP kill, doubled when you kill the other side in the Drawdown

Sides lock for the week the moment you pick or switch. The winning side wears the Operator title the week after.

ECONOMY

Scrip is off-chain and earned. $EQTY is on-chain and traded. They meet on the Exchange Board. The sinks are the entry fee, which burns in full, shop purchases, the Bell, which burns half of every pull, the market fee, which burns half its cut, and the tombstone tax of the Drawdown.

EXCHANGE BOARD

The Exchange Board lists items for $EQTY. Sellers keep 94%. Of the 6% fee, 3% is burned and 3% goes to the Treasury. Listings sit until somebody buys them or you pull them, and buying spends your in-game balance.

THE BELL

300 a pull. Half burns forever, half goes to the Treasury.

$EQTY

$EQTY is a fixed supply of 500,000,000, launching on Pons Launchpad on Robinhood Chain. Every trade pays 4%:

CutGoes to
3%Treasury, which buys tokenized stock for the vault
0.5%liquidity
0.5%operations

In game, $EQTY is a custodial balance. Deposit by sending to the game deposit address, credited after one confirmation. Withdraw at the Vault, capped at 40,000 a day.

Contract address: launch soon.

TREASURY AND TIERS

The Treasury is the wallet that takes the trade tax, the market fee and the Bell share. Its size in ETH sets the tier, and the tier sets how many ranked players get paid each week and which stocks are in the pool.

The ladder is priced in ETH. Until $EQTY trades there is nothing to price, so the Treasury holds the Seed tier and the site says so instead of converting a pre-launch credit balance into a number it is not.

STOCK REWARDS AND CLAIMS

Every ISO week closes Monday 00:00 UTC. The top N by tier receive a signed claim for tokenized stock from the reward vault on Robinhood Chain. Open Ranks, check last week, press Claim, confirm in your wallet. One claim per rank per token, capped per day on chain.

Tokenized stock rewards follow the holder rules of each stock token. Where a wallet is not eligible for a given token, that reward pays in $EQTY instead.

THE VAULT

The Vault stores unlimited stacks. Deposit one, deposit the pack, withdraw one, five or all. Banked stock never drops, not even in the Drawdown. The EQTY tab handles withdrawals to your own wallet.

MARKS

Purely visual companions with no stats, sold by Cutler for scrip. Equip one in the Mark slot and it follows you into every district. Marks trade on the Exchange Board like anything else.

FAIR PLAY AND THE PEOPLE

The server is authoritative. Every timer, roll and drop is computed on the server and the client only sends intents, which is the only reason the ranks page means anything. Wallet login is a signed message, never a transaction. The reward vault has per-token daily caps and a pause switch.

MARTA VOSSVault Keeper

Runs the only door in the Basin nobody has got through. Banked stock never drops, not even in the Drawdown, and the EQTY tab is where you withdraw to your own wallet.

CUTLER PACEOutfitter

Tools, edges and plate for scrip. He pays 55% of value when you sell to him, which is his way of telling you to use the Exchange Board instead.

ODESSA FINCHRegistrar

Keeps the tape and the weekly ranks. She will tell you where you sit and how far off the paying line you are, and she will not soften it.

Equitia is not affiliated with Robinhood Markets. Robinhood Chain is a public Ethereum L2 that anyone can deploy to.
